Chapter 62-701 rule workshop on 8-2-2011

-- Beginning of Message

Dear All,

As you know we are planning to have a rule workshop for Chapter 62-701, F.A.C. on August 2nd in room 609 of the Bob Martinez Center, 2600 Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, Florida.  Attached are Word and pdf copies of Chapter 62-701 with the proposed changes (most of the new changes are highlighted in yellow).  I have included a copy of the Agenda as well.  We will start at 9:00 am and have allowed for an end time of 4:00 pm if we need to go that long.  This time the Agenda is structured simply as a list of topics to discuss.  We hope to cover them roughly in the order they are listed.

To save paper we reformatted the rule into a two page, side-by-side version.  Since printers can vary, if you want a printed copy you may need to print the pdf version just to be sure you will be looking at the same thing when we locate text by page and line numbers at the workshop.  Of course you can check your printed Word copy with the pdf version to accomplish the same thing.  We will probably not have many printed copies of the draft rule changes available at the workshop so please plan to bring your own copy.

As I mentioned in an email earlier, we are also making a webinar option available to those who cannot travel to Tallahassee for this workshop but want to keep up with what is being discussed.  To join in by the webinar you will have to register at the following web address:

If all goes well you will be able to send us questions through the webinar.  We are also hoping by using a speakerphone and a PA system you will be able to hear the discussions.  That would be helpful right!  Finally, we may try to have a webcam available so you could also watch the proceedings.  We don’t know if that will be possible yet or not but are looking into it.

I hope this helps some.  As always we are looking forward to and value your input into this rule making effort.  If you have any questions, just let me know.  See you on August 2nd.  Take care. - RT
